BiNet USA / Current work

To Every Community Asked to Survive Without Support

A letter from Faith Cheltenham

I am continuing the work of BiNet USA through XXYYZZ Society. I want this next chapter to make room for the whole person, the whole record, and the work still ahead.

We are more than the story told about us

I am not announcing a lawsuit over my treatment. I am bringing my experience, my records, and my continued work into a public conversation about what needs to change.

A person should not have to spend their entire life answering a story that has become more profitable than listening to them. Nor should protecting someone's ability to respond mean silencing survivors, journalists, critics, or whistleblowers. We have to do the harder work of making room for evidence and for people.

Bi-led does not mean justice for only us

My work with BiNet has always meant taking bisexual leadership seriously in the wider struggle for civil rights. The next chapter includes prisoners, sex workers, survivors, missing people and their families, disabled people, people living with mental-health needs, and people pushed aside by poverty.

There is room here for Jewish, Christian, Muslim, other-faith, and nonreligious people. There is room to work across political differences without asking anyone to surrender their conscience. No community should have to prove it is fashionable before its rights matter.

Our first policy announcement

Digital Right of Reply is the first policy initiative of this renewed chapter. We will develop proposals for accessible responses, evidence preservation, visible corrections, and accountability around monetized harm. A proposal is not a law already passed, and an accusation or a reply is not automatically a verdict.

This is also about activists whose labor built institutions but whose voices disappear from the accounts of that work. I want credit, consent, ownership, and fair terms to become practice, not simply language on a website.

Preserve what came before. Build what comes next.

The archive keeps earlier BiNet work available with its historical context. Restoration does not erase the people who made it, and it does not turn an old page into a current instruction.

XXYYZZ's developing AI work connects practical access with community economic dignity. We plan to allocate 10% of proceeds from the relevant ad-supported tools to locally led food-support work in rural African communities. We will explain the formula and document delivery before claiming impact.

An invitation with terms

Bring your expertise, your questions, your corrections, or a proposal for work we can do together. Do not send intimate evidence or another person's private information in an initial message. We can discuss consent and an appropriate process first.

Research, strategy, testimony, code, and creative work have value. Commissioned work should be paid. Collaboration should make ownership clearer, not leave the person doing the work with less power.

Our continued existence and our continued work are part of the answer. I intend to keep building.
