Accessibility
Access is part of the work.
We are working toward readable, keyboard-accessible, responsive public pages. Historical preservation and accessible interpretation should support each other.
Current pages
The current publication uses semantic headings, a skip link, visible keyboard focus, text labels, responsive navigation, and layouts that allow text to wrap. No account, payment, or private evidence submission is required to read it.
These measures are not a claim of an independent accessibility certification or complete WCAG conformance audit.
Historical limits
The archive preserves older layouts and material whose images, link text, typography, and original structure may not meet current standards. The new context notice and index provide an additional route into those records; they do not turn a partial reconstruction into a complete accessible original.
If a page cannot be read or navigated, identify its URL and the barrier. We can discuss an alternative format without requiring a diagnosis or detailed disability disclosure.
Request an access review
Email the project with the page, device or assistive tool if you wish to name it, and the task that was blocked. Share only what is necessary to understand the issue.
