San Francisco Pride March Bi Contingent Sign-Making Party
Sunday, June 14
2:00 pm
Dolores Park, San Francisco
For anybody who wants to march with the bi contingent in
the San Francisco Pride March.
Bring any materials you have for making your own sign
-- we'll have some, too. As suggested by Ted Thomas,
the bi contingent organizer, consider making a sign to
show your connections with queer organizations you
volunteer with or work for.
After you make your sign, you can help make the big
pennants to be carried in front of the Switch Hitters
Pride March Baseball Team or the little pennants to be
given out to the crowd. Watch our cheerleaders practice
and help us think of cheers and chants to stir up the
March watchers.
Meet on the Dolores Street side of the park, near the middle.
The park is between 18th and 20th Streets, and between
Church and Dolores Streets, in the Mission District.
Public transportation: BART 16th Street Station or
the J Church MUNI stop at the corner of 18th and Church.
You can easily walk from MUNI's Church Street Station, too.
Call Melissa at 415.642.3822 for more information.
Looking forward to seeing you! |
